THE MAIN MESSAGE OF THE EVENT WAS THAT FOR 10 YEARS THE AEHA CONFERENCES HAVE MADE A HUGE CONTRIBUTION TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF CONTACT VISION CORRECTION IN RUSSIA, BEING ONE OF THE LEADING SCIENTIFIC AND EDUCATIONAL EVENTS IN THIS FIELD.
MAXIMICE helped to organize a large-scale educational event for ophthalmologists from all over Russia, featuring many professional international speakers in the field of vision correction.
Special features:
- Only 1 month of preparation (last year it was 3) + limited hours for installation work (there was another event at the venue the day before).
- Large number of staff involved in the project (92 technicians, 54 coordinators)
- The task was to make the event bright and interesting; the symposium was an anniversary event, but we had to act strictly within the law and avoid offering "mere entertainment". An effective solution was to incorporate a large number of modern video effects and animation into the project, as well as organizing an intellectual quiz with the famous master of the game "What? Where? When?" Maxim Potashov as part of the evening program. The questions were specially designed and dedicated to the theme of the symposium!
- A special website was developed for the project.
- Olympic champion Alexey Yagudin acted as a guest celebrity speaker.
- A special online broadcast to the CIS countries was organized.
Extensive branding dedicated to the professional activities of the participants and highlighting the main trends in ophthalmology gave the event a special atmosphere: three-dimensional banners, information pillars, flags, laser projections, touch-screen panels.
In the mirror maze, conference participants could see millions of happy eyes of their patients, while Olympic champion Alexey Yagudin, speaking about the importance of vision for any athlete, was welcomed with extraordinary warmth and joy.
A 180-degree video projection, an evening intellectual game-style program with Maxim Potashev, 1,200 direct participants, a tremendous construction within a short period of time - we are justifiably proud of this project!
A little bit of statistics:
- Number of participants: 1,202 (1,130 in 2015)
- On-line participants: 1,383 (845 in 2015)
- The participants' assessment of the event resulted in a high score of 96% compared to 93% last year; all speakers also received high scores from the audience (the average score was only 6%, there was no lowest score).
